The autonomous microfactory demonstrator developed as part of the MicroLean Lab will be presented for the third time at the SIAMS in Moutier, from April 21 to 24, 2026, at the Haute Ecole Arc Ingénierie.
Compared to the setup presented at SIAMS 2024, a new machine will be making its debut. It is a K5-4 CNC machine developed by the engineers at Precitrame Machines and integrated into one of the micro-factory’s technological blocks by the team at Haute Ecole Arc Ingénierie.
At SIAMS 2026, visitors will also be able to see how the microfactory scheduler can autonomously manage two production sequences running asynchronously, while using the same machines and transfer equipment. In this case, these two production sequences control the series of operations required for the machining and inspection of a bridge and a plate.
Welcome to the Haute Ecole Arc Ingénierie booth: A11, Hall 2.2.
