From the 3rd to the 19th of November, 150 people working mainly in Swiss companies came to discover the first proof of concept of the autonomous, connected and reconfigurable micro-factory developed by the MicroLean Lab at the Saint-Imier Technology Park.
In groups of no more than five people, they had the opportunity to learn more about the MicroLean Lab, a community of interest bringing together watchmaking groups, Swiss SMEs and the Haute Ecole Arc Ingénierie aimed at experimenting the potential of digitalization for the microtechnology industry.
“We have just spent three intense weeks of communication around a proof of concept of the factory of the future”, summarizes Florian Serex, responsible for partnerships and valorisation of the MicroLean Lab. “The stars in our visitors’ eyes will long remain etched in our memory. This is a huge motivation for the whole team working on this great project, it is the validation of the choices we have made these last years.”
It is still possible to join the MicroLean Lab !
