MicroLean Lab at SIAMS 2024

The new features of the autonomous, connected and reconfigurable microfactory developed as part of the MicroLean Lab will be presented on the Haute Ecole Arc Ingénierie stand at SIAMS, from April 16 to 19, 2024 in Moutier. To be discovered this year: a new transitique, a new technological block and asynchronous process management based on intelligent agents. You will be able to talk to the engineers working on this ambitious project, and discover how predictive Read more…

The microfactory at Micronora

The demonstrator of the autonomous, connected and reconfigurable microfactory developed within the framework of the MicroLean Lab will be presented at the ZOOM of the international microtechnology trade fair Micronora, which will be held from 27 to 30 September 2022 in Besançon.

What do you know about Switzerland ?

The MicroLean Lab is one of the solutions presented in the video “What do you know about Switzerland?” published by Switzerland Global Enterprise, the official organization responsible for promoting exports and Switzerland as a business location. We discover the micro-factory in operation after 50 seconds, under the heading “Where tradition meets precision”.

Come and discover the micro-factory at SIAMS

The demonstrator of the autonomous, connected and reconfigurable micro-factory developed within the framework of the MicroLean Lab will be presented on the stand of the Haute Ecole Arc Ingénierie (HES-SO) at the SIAMS exhibition, from April 5 to 8, 2022 in Moutier. You will be able to discuss with the engineers who work on this ambitious project and discover in particular, during machining demonstrations carried out on the micro-factory, that prediction algorithms can replace measuring Read more…

Presentation of the MicroLean Lab to SIAMS+, INNOTEQ.DIGITAL and Italian entrepreneurs

As part of the SIAMS+ day, on 5th May 2021, Florian Serex, MicroLean Lab partnerships and development manager, will give a presentation entitled “From automation to autonomization”. He will then participate, with several manufacturers, in a round table on the theme “Automation and robotics”. The manufacture of a complex successful product requires the mastery, by specialized professionals, of many technological blocks, automated or not. The autonomization of these technological blocks allows a single person, with Read more…

From micromachines to connected, autonomous and reconfigurable micro-factories

The connected, autonomous and reconfigurable micro-factory currently being developed within the framework of the MicroLean Lab finds its origin in the micro5, a revolutionary 5-axis milling machine designed in 2015 at the HE-Arc Ingénierie. That year, as part of a product design course, three Industrial Design Engineering students had the idea of creating a micro-factory made up of different types of micromachines. One of them, Mathieu Steulet, who then worked as an assistant in the Read more…
